We are seeking a Reserve Volunteer to join our weekly Thursday Habitat Management group at WWT Washington. As a Reserve Volunteer, you will be working outdoors alongside a team of 3 wardens and in a group of up to 10 fellow volunteers to support reserve habitat management across our 103-acre site.
\nYou will be assisting with practical reserves management, including:
\nNo previous experience is required for this role, and full training will be provided. You should be practically minded, have a can-do attitude, and be willing to learn new skills. You should also have a good level of physical fitness, be able to use/lift hand power tools, and be willing to get stuck in and work outdoors in all weather.
\nThe ideal candidate will have a passion for nature and wildlife conservation, be able to work independently using their own initiative, and be confident in talking to and engaging with members of the public.

You will provide exceptional customer service, maximise sales and membership recruitment, and contribute to the delivery of agreed targets.
