\nAs a Senior Scientist, Early Bioprocess Research in the Early Vaccines and Immune Therapies Unit (Early V&I) in Seattle, WA, you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives.

\nCurrently, we are seeking a Senior Scientist with a strong protein biochemistry background to lead early bioprocess activities for preclinical vaccine pipeline programs.
\nThis will be a key member of the team developing next-generation vaccines.
\nThe position requires both the ability to lead collaborative team activities and a strong interest in laboratory bench work for driving projects forward.

\nThe annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $116,284.00 - $174,426.00. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. You will also submit lab permit (HMIS) application and renewal to Seattle Fire Department. You will conduct periodic reviews of chemical inventory, PPE hazard risk assessment, biological hazards risk assessment, and other risk assessments as needed.
\nThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or related area and 10+ years of experience in lab and facilities management within the pharmaceutical, biologics, or other related industries. You will have demonstrated knowledge of administrative management practices and procedures, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. You will also have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, be a team player with great people skills, and have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
