\nResponsibilities: Provide on-site support to the manufacturing team, assisting with security and fire operations for the plant to include access control, CCTV monitoring, fire inspections, and emergency support. Assist with special projects and security initiatives, including GAO audits, AON fire inspection audits, daily plant walks, etc. Ensure monthly fire tasks are completed and documented. Enforce Security and Fire manual, bulletins, and protocols to ensure compliance. May perform the role of Incident Commander for emergencies. Will to support the company Emergency Response Team are required. Respond to emergency incidents to include medical, behavioral, fire, trespassing, accidents, suspicious activity, thefts, etc. Escalate appropriately to the Security Team Lead and/or Regional Security Manager. Enhance emergency response capabilities by utilizing incident response tools and through the deployment of emergency response equipment for the company or local municipalities. Assist in security for VIP visits. Assist with investigations, escalating to the Security Team Lead and/or Regional Security Manager and Global Investigations, as appropriate. Identify and escalate physical security gaps through proactive security initiatives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal skill teams to ensure unified alignment with all security and fire related matters. Protect company classified information with confidentiality.
\nQualifications: The minimum requirements we seek: High School Diploma Minimum 3 years’ experience in law enforcement, military or equivalent. Highly motivated, hands-on, self-starter with ability to think creatively and operate in a dynamic, ambiguous environment. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills (soft skills). Ability to multi-task, strong problem-solving, conflict management skills. Demonstrated ability to: Establish priorities under changing conditions. Exhibit calm, rational behavior under stressful conditions. Administer duties and responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail. Show initiative and leadership. Available to work 24x7, 365 days a year. \nDrive development and/or installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods. Track labor, efficient manpower utilization, and line balancing. Conduct Ergonomic Job evaluations and implement workstation designs that meet safety and ergonomic requirements. Analyse problem process constraints and conduct equipment cycle time analysis. Recommend most efficient distribution of manpower and review daily employee manpower, analyse plant methods and standards. Prepare or direct the preparation of cost estimates of new or revised methods and standards. Review proposed changes in plant layout, processes, material handling, routing, etc. Analyse production and non-production operations to determine those requiring study and develop new or improved methods and standards. Conduct time and motion/MODAPTS studies and review employee proposals and suggestions. Develop cycle line layouts for current and future models using ACAD. Lead job methodization and process allocations. Coordinate engineering changes and planning. Conduct value stream mapping and process audits. Develop cost saving project proposals and write projects as required. Assist production in planning labor allocations for mix and line speed changes. Lead future model labor development (design, cycle line layouts, future model allocations). Analyse and report current production plan vs. actual results. Identify concerns and proactively initiate projects to resolve the concerns.
\nQualifications:
\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering. 2+ years' experience in an Industrial Engineering Role at a manufacturing facility with manual and automated processes. Must possess the ability to analyse and resolve issues quickly through root cause analysis and drive change back to the production departments. Must demonstrate the ability to execute and achieve results, while organising and managing multiple priorities. Must have the ability to serve as a strong and confident technical mentor to the production organisation (both hourly and salary). Must have strong written and verbal communications skills. Must have strong data analysis and reporting skills.
